Dog Adoption Event at PetSmart
Join us at PetSmart in Belleville for a dog adoption event. We will have many of our adoptable dogs on hand for you to meet and adopt. They will all be spay/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped…ready to go home that day! Come meet your new best friend! Helping Strays will be there from 11am-2pm.
21st Annual Purina Pooches in the Ballpark
The 21st Annual Purina Pooches in the Ballpark game is on Saturday, April 25, 2026, when the St. Louis Cardinals host the Seattle Mariners at 1:15 PM at Busch Stadium. Tickets are available on the official MLB.com Pooches in the Ballpark page. This event includes a pregame parade and all-inclusive seating with food/drinks. A couple of Helping Strays staff will be in attendance, walking adoptable shelter dogs - look for us to meet our pups or make a donation for their care!

Makers on Main Street Adoption Event
Come to the Makers Market and Block Party! There will be lots of vendors, Columbia High School jazz band, food fundraiser, and adoptable dogs. Helping Strays will be there with adoptable dogs from 10am to 12 noon.

Dine at Millers on Main in Columbia on the FIRST Monday of every month and they will donate a portion of their proceeds to Helping Strays!
