The Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois provides emergency shelter and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence. PurpleOne training is a free education program that teaches participants how to recognize and respond to those experiencing domestic violence. As a fellow local nonprofit, Helping Strays is serving as a community partner host of a training session.
