Your support today makes it possible for us to provide critical services and care for companion animals. And when you plan a gift to Helping Strays in your long-term estate or financial plans, you help ensure that we’ll be here, helping the homeless pets of our community, for years to come. You can give in many ways, such as trusts, insurance policies, real estate, work place giving and retirement benefits. Consult a professional who specializes in estate planning.
In order to ensure financial stability for the shelter, Helping Strays Board of Directors established an endowment when they built the new shelter designated to help provide for the needs of the organization for many years to come. Contributions to the endowment will guarantee that the organization will be able to take care of the animals that need our help long into the future, as well as providing for the physical structure of the shelter.
As Helping Strays is a 501(c)(3) organization, all contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law. Wills, living wills, and gifts of stock are a great way to contribute to the endowment. For more information on contributing to the Helping Strays’ endowment, please contact Helping Strays’ financial adviser, Todd Osterhage (Edward Jones), at (618)281-3443.
