Business programs that donate to Helping Strays

There are several ways to support Helping Strays, including some very easy ones. Several local businesses have partnered with HS, and will donate a portion of your purchase. There are online programs as well. If you shop with any of these merchants, please make Helping Strays your beneficiary.

Walter Knoll Florist's

Sending flowers to a loved one? Walter Knoll Florist's "Lend a Hand" program enables customers to make a $2.00 donation by choosing Helping Strays in the "Lend a Hand" pull down menu on the order form.

Denny's

Eat dinner at Denny's on the first and third Wednesday of every month, and Denny's will donate 25% to Helping Strays. Eat between 4pm and 10pm, and let the cashier know that you are dining for Helping Strays. That's all there is to it.

Schnucks

Pick up a Schnucks eScrip Card and register it with eScrip. Select Humane Society of Monroe County as your designated organization. Then, swipe your card every time you make a purchase at Schnucks, and Schnucks will donate 3% of your purchase to Helping Strays. We are listed on the eScrip website as Humane Society of Monroe County. While you are there, consider adding some of your other loyalty cards. Many businesses and restaurants are registered with eScrip. You can get a card at most Helping Strays events, or pick up one next time you shop at Schnucks.

iGive

iGive is an online equivalent of the the eScrip card, with hundreds of stores donating a portion of your purchase. Stores like Amazon, and Apple, Bass Pro Shops and Zumba Fitness. If you do any shopping online, please consider signing up for iGive.

Amazon Smiles

Amazon Smiles lets you designate a portion of your purchase to charity. Select Humane Society of Monroe County Illinois, and 0.5% of your eligible purchase will be donated to Helping Strays. There are quite a few Monroe County organizations, so be sure you have selected the one in Waterloo, IL.

EBay

Yes, if you sell on EBay, you can designate a portion of your proceeds to benefit Helping Strays. Perhaps you have considered listing a few of those items you have in the attic? Now you can do it for a good cause. Sign up and start selling!
